The course lies on gently rolling terrain that rarely delivers bad lies. It has no sand bunkers in its layout but water is in play on six of its holes. Here, most problems are created by the many mature spruce, birch and poplar that crowd the fairways. Golfers may also have difficulty with Pigeon Lake's small greens. They can be difficult to both hit and putt on especially if a player's short game is lacking. The toughest hole here is the dogleg left, 16th. At 385 yards, this par four requires a pinpoint accurate approach shot of 150 to 200 yards to a green closely guarded by trees. | ![]() |
